The Butchers Block cafe opened at Carindale Shopping Centre today - so I guess I was lucky enough to be there on the spot. Located up near Woolworths Supermarket between the Butchers & the Greengrocers - very quiet & relaxing area.This is a part of the Butchers right next door & they make one of the best Old School Burgers I have had in a long while in Brisbane. Their steak was, as expected, absolutely mouthwatering, the bread bun was not your typical "styrofoam" example seen at most burger places nowadays - this was the real deal with freshness and taste to spare. The burger came with the usual sauce, lettuce, caramelised onion (particularly good) & was topped off with beetroot - just like they used to be before we Aussies became obsessed with plastic food from Maccas etc.If you are looking for good, easy to enjoy food at a reasonable price then you won't go wrong here - reminds me of what a real burger joint should be like. Service was fast, friendly & efficient - staff appeared to be happy to meet & greet each customer.The big bonus is that this place is tucked away from the hustle & bustle a little bit which makes for a change from all the noise in the food court.Will definitely be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I didn't have high expectations for some reason. The decor and overall vibe were beautiful.

Pony Dining offers stunning views and a lovely atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with a special shoutout to our server Tania for her exceptional attention to detail.

We began our meal with the marinated olives and calamari, both of which were excellent. I also highly recommend trying the scotch fillet and the gnocchi.
