Delicious. They have a great selection of flavours and I have tried a few at the Mt Gravatt location - all have been great. Today I went for a simple Wagyu Beef with 150 Lashes Pale Ale. I love the filling in these pies. Often you have a pie that is full of gelatinous gravy speckled with small bits of mince. Or you have the chunky meat pies that have oversized chunks in plain gelatinous gravy. This filling had the large chunks of smoky beef and the gravy was full of pulled meat. Flavour was delicious but not too rich. Pastry is flaky and if I am trying to find a fault, I might say it could be crisper. However, I like it just the way it is. So glad I have this place so close to home!

Bingo! I got it. Had been to its sibling at Mt Gravatt and was surprised by the products there and it is even better here. I was confirmed by the chef that all the pies are made at this spot and I could see the large pie preparation area at the back of the shop front. Although there is no fancy shop fit, the food is the most important to me. I chose the Jack Daniels & BBQ Pork Rib Pie. Wow! Look at the top pastry which pop up and started to kick-start my appetite. First bite was full of pull-pork in my mouth. Look at the content which was so generous that was full of pieces of mouth-melting pulled pork. I urge all the foodies (pie-lovers) to give it a go! You would not be let down by them.....

Saw a sign for this joint opening up for a while, always wondered where on earth it was going to open as there are only a few old warehouses about. Anyway, she opens up and I come down after the Christmas break, BAM, found a new pie shop. **** delicious, was so tasty, really good to have after working a big shift of building brick houses. Keep up the good work, best pies about!

I couldn't even taste a hauch of rosemary. not great again, but a decent cake. with. brandonk
