What Orpha Rempel doesn't like about Phat Pho:
I ate here yesterday and it was quite a hot day and there is no air con here so pretty uncomfortable - get an air con system. The menu has a good range of Vietnamese street food and I went with the beef pho.I must say I was a little underwhelmed with the contents of this pho,the taste was beautiful but there was such a small amount of beef - it was mostly noodles and I have had far better in many other places. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant! My favourite dish that I always get is the vermicelli noodle salad with spring rolls and marinated pork, oh my goodness it is so good! I love the food here. Fast service and friendly staff!
I have been to Phat Pho for several times, so instead of being picky and just to save everyone's time, here are the dishes I highly recommend: <br/ Beef Pho (their fresh chillies are very very spicy so just 1 or 2 little pieces will do <br/ Pork Belly Bao (or steamed buns their pork belly is to die for <br/ Rice Paper Rolls: all flavours are excellent as they make a balanced portion of the ingredients needed for a good paper roll. Not much rice vermicelli, which is something I really appreciate cause in most of other Vietnamese eateries, they tend to use lots and lots of vermicelli to reduce the cost but that's clearly not how the Vietnamese people make their rolls<br/ Caramelized Pork Belly with jasmine rice: you can be in a mood or nah but you can never go wrong with this dish 10/10 <br/ Banh My (or Baguette : don't forget to ask them to put a lot of their spicy mayo. All the goodness is like dancing in your mouth till the last bite. <br/ And finally their Lettuce Wraps: very very fresh and interesting. You may need another one if you pocket permits ; <br/ <br/ I know I recommend 90% of their menu as I haven't tried other dishes yet but 2.6 overall rating obviously doesn't do this cute little place any justice.
Relax/casual nice atmosphere with very reasonable prices compare to most restaurants in Teneriff. BYO is another win for me my friends. After a great night eating at Phat Pho we didn't spend too much at all.
Had dinner Phat Pho the other day with my bestie. We were literally fought over the caramelised pork belly. Would definitely will go back for more<br/
