This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Authentic, delicious wholesome Italian food served in a casual setting. The chef and his wife are both so welcoming it really does feel like you are coming home for dinner. The food is really something special and is clearly made with expertise and care. Went for dinner with a group of 7 and we were all very happy with the simple yet tasty food. The mains were a nice size and it was great to have a couple of specials to choose from, meaning we could come back multiple times and always have variety. The desserts were good, not overly sweet and there were lots of choices. Having the BYO option is always good. Will definitely be back
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. It has the same cozy atmosphere as a Trattoria in Italy. The homemade meals were delicious and we will definitely be returning. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We appreciate the wonderful service. Thank you.
Just go! You won't be disappointed! This non pretentious, all about the food and family Italian fare is an authentic trattoria in brisbane. The food is wonderful with very strong depth of traditional flavours. The chef although keeps it simple knows what works and puts into his food pride and love his Nonna would. There is an artisan touch to his dishes that is unexpected from a suburban restaurant, Just try the Moro salad and you will know what I mean. The changing specials menu catering for what is good in the market now is clever for a local menu and will keep regulars like we will become attentive knowing we can always get the family favourites but can also get something unexpected at the same time. The menu is inexpensive ( the way Italian fare should be so you can order many of your favourite dishes and be truly luxuriously full...primi, secondi, contorni... ) and not to mention the deserts..made in house and are delicious. We ordered three between two. With a good list to try we went with the favs, tiramisu, delicate and light and not too strong, the panna cotta, sweet with vanilla you can see, and of course a cannoli. You feel very welcomed by this family run business and leave feeling like you had just been at friends for tea.As I said at the beginning... just go.

Our party had one of the daily specials (they really ARE special) - braised veal shanks, as well as the lasagne and the spaghetti and meatballs. They were all generously sized portions and very very tasty. We have eaten here twice now and will definitely be back. As Molly would say ... "do yourself a favour and check it out."
This Italian restaurant in Brisbane is definitely the best we've tried. The flavors of their dishes are incredibly authentic and the prices are fantastic. If you're craving delicious Italian food on the south side of Brisbane, this is the place to visit.
