Factory 51 in Cooparoo is a newly opened bistro with a great selection of food and drink offerings. The mushroom arancini balls were especially delicious, while the pizza was decent but not exceptional. The ambiance and interior were beautiful, but some reviewers noted a negative experience with a waiter. Some diners experienced issues with service, feeling rushed to finish their meals and feeling disappointed with the lack of opportunity to order dessert. Despite some setbacks, many patrons praised the dishes like the snapper, gnocchi, and pizza. The establishment received accolades for its great atmosphere and excellent service, making it a popular choice for locals. Overall, Factory 51 remains a promising dining option with room for improvement in some areas.

7/10. Great venue, pretty good food, okay presentation/plateup. Fun night out. Off Old Cleveland Road in Cooparoo is a restaurant slash function space. I came were with a group of friends on a Sunday night. It's a gorgeous venue, the red exposed brick, the woodfire oven on show, it feels like it's good for group dinners or a cosy date night. Food was pretty good to okay. The brisket was well cooked and pulled apart with ease. The chipotle adobo ketchup was tasty AF. Pizza was cooked to order, the woodfire oven is a good investment. The standout was the truffle aioli that came with the arancini balls. The pan fried gnocchi was disappointing. There were inconsistencies with the pan frying some was just right, others overcooked/dry and the dish needed more moisture. Pancetta was crisp and the pecorino added flavour. My biggest criticism is that food presentation could be improved, especially in desserts. My ice cream sundae was particularly lacklustre (two ice cream scoops, melted white chocolate and a 'crumb') and the plate up of the brownie needs refinement (piping, jagged cutting of the brownie). Overall, the presentation doesn't quite match the gorgeous venue. This place is a much needed addition to this area. I'd come here if I wanted a fun dinner with friends on the southside and you want a decent feed.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I would recommend to everyone. All of my friends and family think the same. Best pizzas I've had in Brisbane for a long time.

Food was fantastic. The only let down for me was that you couldn’t order anything from the drinks menu, only a select menu (I understand the function bar has limited flexibility with that kind of thing).

The food at this restaurant was quite good. The prices for the meals were reasonable considering the quality, but the prices for wine were a bit high for what they offered. The ambience was lacking, with uncomfortable wooden chairs and a cheap feeling wooden slatted picnic table. The large ceiling fan above was a bit overwhelming and cooled our food quickly. There was no background music to enhance the atmosphere. The service was decent, although it may have been a busy night (Valentine's Day). Overall, it was a decent meal, but nothing that would make us excited to return, especially when one of their main dishes (lasagne) was only available in seafood flavor. It's worth trying for yourself.
