Friendly local neighbourhood restaurant with fun and festive vibe. Staff very friendly, food came out quickly and it was pretty good. It’s burritos, nachos and enchiladas so hard to go wrong. Recommend for a casual dinner and good value. View all feedback.
What Victoria doesn't like about Vivo Latino:
Had a lunch time booking on a Saturday, first and only people there. Nicely decorated but had a stale smell in the place. Limited gluten free choice, had chicken curry. Chicken seemed very processed and had an artificial, chewy texture, so couldn’t eat it; shame as the curry taste was ok and presentation. View all feedback.
Review written by frau. the overall experience was good, the starters were great, but there were a few things that left it down. 1) it took a while until our food came out. 2) the drinks we ordered came out in dribs and drabs. at one point a drink was given for our table to another table. we also got the same drink twice. it seemed a lack of communication between the waiters. 3) that was nice to eat, but my man ordered his steak and lamb to be medium, but when it came, it was practically raw. he wasn't even able to cut it. the waitress was nice enough to take it back and have cooked it a little more. 4) my elder eating was much too salty we are a family that salt so for us say it was too salty really something. the waitress was nice enough to take it back and when it came out, it was much better. 5) I had the prawn curry, which was nice, it said it was a coconut Calc curry, but all that they could taste was kal what I didn't make so much, but after one was a little sharp. 6) we called the waitress again when my sister tacos had ordered, but she didn't want to, but when we called the waitress, she made it quite clear that she was fed/hearted to come to our table. she sighed before speaking and her body language showed clearly that she did not want to be there. 7) the cocktails seemed to have been fed. I got the bramble and when it came, it just tasted sodawater, that was not great and so did my sister cocktail. with adjustments to settings and service it could be a really great place.

No personal who went to people after waiting for over 2 hours without having a drink.
Waiting staff were polite and friendly but Felt a bit rushed to move on to next courses, etc. no excuse really as the restaurant wasn’t busy. Starter of ‘Latin bread’ was inedible, dry, stale and hard. Fajitas looked lovely, but were lacking any kind of spice or flavour- also incredibly oily. Accompanying dips were bland. Hubby had calamari to start which was completely dry ? looked reheated)… Puddings- didn’t have my first choice, had the churros, batter was uncooked in middle giving a strange taste. On plus side, nice cocktails. Front of house was a nice chap, but he was stressed and we could hear him complaining as we were sat by the bar. All in all, disappointed as the website promised so much more…
First visit, we throughly enjoyed our meals. Service was fantastic. U will be going back
