The Pineapple in Llandaff North is a local favorite, offering a cozy atmosphere and excellent food at reasonable prices. The pub serves real ales and delicious pub grub, including fantastic fish and chips. The staff is friendly, and the Sunday lunch is highly recommended. Was Anonym at The Pineapple Pub a mag?
I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant. They offer both large and smaller portions, and you can also get takeout. The food is freshly made at home and very delicious. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Pineapple Pub:
This pub is a dump. Avoid!!! Knock it down and plant a tree! The surrounding are rubbish and lit by a florescent tube and the decor os very poor. Not a nice pub. Visit Whitchurch/ Llandaff City pubs instead!! View all feedback.

Lots of things to do, but no food available right now. Perfect spot to stop by on your way home from work or shopping.

I have made The Pineapple my local spot ever since I moved to Llandaff North two years ago. With four pubs in the area (now three since Cow and Snuffers closed down), as well as many more in nearby Whitchurch and Llandaff, The Pineapple quickly stood out as my favorite. As a fan of real ale, I always have a choice between Sharp's Doom Bar and Wickwar Bob. The locals in the front bar are always friendly and chatty, and the cozy lounge is a comfortable place to relax. The landlady is approachable and friendly, and although I haven't eaten there myself, I've heard the food is quite good. Unfortunately, due to the construction of a Lidl next door, the pub is losing its beer garden and skittle alley. On the bright side, the support for the pub from the community has been strengthened by the plans for the supermarket, creating a real sense of community. The pubs and locals have also shown support for other local campaigns, such as the fundraising drive for the Llandaff Scouts. I hope that the supermarket will bring new customers to this charming pub.

Since Lidl knocked down the skittle alley at the back and the pub changed managment (during covid) the place has gone to the dogs. Rough (very), run down, dirty, no real ales anymore, no food, the lounge room smells disgusting and the staff grumpy and unhelpful.
