Despite its unassuming exterior as a typical neighborhood coffee shop, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and affordable coffee they served. The variety of coffee options, especially the different filter coffee choices, made it a great spot for a casual meet-up or simply to enjoy a quality cup of coffee.

I stopped in during my lunch break with only 15 minutes to spare, hoping to order a frozen chocolate cookies and cream drink. Unfortunately, there was a long line and only two employees working - a female serving drinks and a male taking orders. When the male finished taking orders, instead of helping the female to expedite the process, he just stood around. With limited time before returning to work, I asked for a refund. While they were willing to provide one, they were unable to open the till for some unknown reason. They then offered me a free drink, but I had to decline as I had to rush back to work. I ended up spending £3.55 for nothing. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service at Second Cup.
