Firstly the reviewers who complained about the lack of biryani and tikka masala should read, learn and expand their narrow cultural knowledge and horizons they... read more Firstly the reviewers who complained about the lack of biryani and tikka masala should read, learn and expand their narrow cultural knowledge and horizons they may learn to love life a bit more Secondly please don’t come here expecting to find your ‘traditional’ curry house menu Finally do come here if you appreciate amazingly cooked food The first time I tried Kerala cuisine was at the famous Tharavadu restaurant in Leeds so good I went back in the same week I was there So, I couldn’t believe it when I saw we had a Kerala restaurant in my home city And it did not let me down I admire the fact they offered tasting menu’s as it’s clear people aren’t accustomed to this type of cooking it’s a good move All the guys I was with (the traditional Korma, Bhuna, Tandoori eating types) were completely blown away by it Im not going to spend time complimenting the tenderness of the chicken dish, the succulent seafood plate or the ridiculous dessert Because I want you to try it for yourself We had Taster Menu 2, because my brother heinously doesn’t like lamb But I have full intentions of returning to try their Tasting Menu 1 and of course the individual mains Oh…the decor is cozy and modern and the staff were brilliant too
