What User doesn't like about Gwalia Tea Room:
We frequently visit St. Fagans, as we live nearby. It's always a great idea to stop here for a cup of tea or coffee. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food didn't exceed our expectations, it was just average. We had sandwiches and one person in our group had the Welsh rarebit. We don't think we'll be craving it next time. View all feedback. read moreNestled within the historic St. Fagans Museum, the Gwalia Tea Room offers a charming escape for visitors. While service can be slow at times, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere enhance the experience. Guests appreciate the delightful selection of afternoon teas, featuring a variety of sandwiches, cakes, and the renowned Welsh rarebit. Although some find the food average and the decor somewhat grim, many leave satisfied after enjoying a cup of tea or a cream tea. The tea room provides a unique setting to relax and regroup amidst the museum's rich history, making it a noteworthy stop.
