The airport is fantastic, with great facilities that are modern and clean. The only drawback is the lack of flights! It was great to fly from Cardiff instead of Bristol. It's high time the owners, who we all know, got their act together. The loss of revenue and job opportunities is unacceptable, and the Welsh government should be embarrassed.
I recommend traveling from cardiff airport if they can, larger than exeter, smaller than bristol. everything was fast and efficient, even though it was calm as we had a 7-am flight. the staff was very friendly and helpful, the security staff was especially chatting and nice, which brings everyone in ease as easy tricky bit!
Cardiff Airport, which is closest to my home, is much quieter than many other airports across the country, making it a perfect choice for me, especially with Covid still a concern. Despite being advised to arrive three hours before our flight, we were able to check in and pass through security in no time, allowing us to enjoy a cup of tea and unwind before our journey.

Small airport with fast safety checks and comfortable lounge. smoking is accessible from the main restaurant outside. free Wi-Fi for 2 hours. public transport available. £5 train from cardiff central and £1 shuttle from the train station to the airport. overall beautiful experience.

What a pleasure it is to fly from Cardiff Airport. The airport is clean and very well sign posted. The security staff are absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of food and drinks are available before your flights as well. This is by far the best airport to fly from. It's not too busy and comfortable. My recent visit to Cardiff Airport on 26th April going out and returned 5th of May from Gran canaria was very good except when we returned to Cardiff Airport we departed from the aircraft via the air bridge and when we enter the airport we have to negotiate the stairs? Up over down and around AGAIN, but I'm sure that people can address this problem for us. I think that this would be such a large improvement. I love to travel from Cardiff Airport.

8 flights taking off on day of travel. parking is only a very short walk and only a brief drive from my home. always a top choice for me when flying albeit flights can be a bit more expensive than my other go to airports
We were a party of 4 there were due to fly out of Cardiff Wales Airport on the April 9th 2024. Two of our party had mobility issues and needed assistance through out the airport and to embark and disembark. The assistance staff at the airport were extremely helpful for our outbound flight and the inbound flight, helping us through check in and security, and then boarding the plane. The inbound flight disembark the assistance team were truly helpful even to the point of accompanying us through ba
