I was eagerly anticipating this meal and was pleased to find the restaurant bustling on a Sunday evening, unlike others in the area. We opted for the chef's selection Tiffin boxes, but found the curries to be lacking a bit of spice and sweeter than anticipated. Nevertheless, we still found the meal enjoyable. We also ordered rotis, but unfortunately they never arrived. While most of the staff were pleasant, there was... View all feedback.
What Ava Richardson doesn't like about Eat:
Chose to have breakfast in Eat! today when visiting St David's Centre in Cardiff. My partner opted for a bacon poached egg roll and I chose a poached egg, mushroom emmental roll. The rolls were fresh, but the poached eggs were overlooked in...both rolls. The bacon, mushrooms and cheese were barely warm, and we both found the rolls lacking in flavour. Coffee was ok, but a bit bitter Americano and a cappuccino. Pricing... View all feedback.
This is a fast food outlet in the food quarter in the shopping center st david. we haven't been one, but for a lunch break. it is not especially cheap, but eating is nicely prepared and presented. cold sandwiches and baguettes. are available in cold regal as they enter and there are also hot diner options available. there were also various vegetarian and vegan options, so that a daumen of my wife stands up. it is self-service for the cold food and order on the switch for everything hot. the coffee is also prepared quickly. there is a series of seating options. traditional table and chairs, some single stands with bench seat, but mostly comfortable lowlounge style chairs with lower tables. the seat is well spaced and is usually open and decorated in neutral colors. two packs sandwiches, two packages of craps and two drinks came just under the sandwiches were well filled and all fresh. we would visit again.
I often come in here when I'm in town and tastes a little fast. it is always clean, and not overly busy, it also has a bit of seating. I would recommend the rolls, or the makkaroni and cheese. there is a lot of choice. on the menu, and it is not too expensive.
I know my daughter there, she was in her lunch, so it had to be a bit fast. we all had a roasted panini and coffee! very nice!
Eat was a short stop at shopping- not disappointing my suppe was beautiful and sister enjoyed mac n cheese. refreshed ready for more shopping
