It's just a diff... read more Having grown up in California, a hotbed for Mexican food, we were a little surprised by the fare at Speedy Amigos. It's not that it's bad food. It's just a different take on Mexican food than we're used to. Some of the ingredients had more...of a middle eastern feel to them. And perhaps this is from unavailability of Mex ingredients. Anyway, in a pinch this is pretty good food, but if you're from the southern states you might find it a little different than what you're used to.

We found it went in to ask for a table only to be told they were not open until September but...they could provide us with a take away. Needless to say we refused. So Speedy Amigos is not too speedy when you have to wait a month for a table!!
