Popped in for a couple pints with friends. It was a pint and was fairly early in the evening so plenty space and suited our needs. However… the toilets. The male toilets, can’t comment on female, is a hazard and for it to be early in the evening with no more than 10 people in then I am surprised it was even at that standard. This place was so unfair to me, they made me come back thrice all because of their bad service. I came on Sunday 15/09/2024 evening for my free food and they sent me back because they were having an event. Then I came back on Monday but I forgot the slip that home but I had it snapped on my phone, and even when I came on Sunday, I showed the worker that sent me back in person, but they said I couldn’t have my food, so I went home to get it and come back just for the manager to open his mouth and tell me that kitchen close by 8, so I should come back another day, after all the stress, frustration and unnecessary expenses they put me through. I would honestly not recommend here for anyone else, thanks!
Booked tickets for comedy, emailed correct email address as per booking email, requested (within period in terms and conditions) to get credit or refund, weeks passed and not even acknowledgement! Avoid!!! £40 lost
Horrendously treated by a member of staff/shocking customer service. Doormen did not listen to what really happened and decided to attempt to assault me using excessive force when I decided to leave anyway. Completely Unacceptable. No issue at this venue for over a decade but will not be returning and lodging serious complaint in due course as NOBODY treats me like this and IF they do then will go through the right channels, i.e management and directors. Place has gone seriously downhill anyway so good riddance.
We came here for brunch on Saturday and loved the vibrant atmosphere. However, the food was just decent and could have been better. The music was so loud that we couldn’t have a proper conversation, which detracted from the experience. Overall, it was an okay visit.
Stag do pool/area/food TBF the actual area and staff was ok, actually the staff were good. But the experience is a little soulless, maybe I expected too much like oompah music and more of an Oktoberfest feel. What was really disappointing was the curry wurst. If you call it wurst, you need to have sausage in it. I had 3 very thin slices of sausage and too much curry sauce. For the cheapness of a sausage, put a whole sausage in the dish and stop cutting corners.
