The bistro is absolutely stunning, featuring retro music, brass lighting, and lovely wooden floors. I enjoyed a Doom Bar ale alongside three small tapas-style plates for just £10 each. The atmosphere was delightful, and the food was both delicious and diverse. I can't wait to return for brunch soon!

The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with a spacious layout. This is one of those hidden gems in Cardiff that I would happily visit again and again!

We have just enjoyed a fabulous meal in amesoeur. that was our first visit, but we look forward to the next one when we take friends. we visited today and chose... read more We have just enjoyed a fabulous meal in amesoeur. that was our first visit, but we look forward to the next one when we take friends. we visited today and chose only more beautiful from the selection of the competitive plates that were similar to the generous tapas-like arrangements. there is also a brunch menu. there was a series of approx. 17-20 petit plates crockery to choose from a balance of meat, fish, cheese and vegetarian options. all our choices were excellent, freshly prepared and looked beautiful, especially the deep fried goat cheese, halloumi with sweet potato and honey, Moroccan meatballs and blue cheese bruschetta. we are good eaters and found 5 dishes more than enough for two people. we wish we made photos, but we dive before we think about it! the dishes were dished in generously filled tapas style, served on a rustic wood panel. the owner, donna was attentive, friendly and helpful. the environment was very pleasant and beautifully decorated. that was a great sound. many thanks for a very pleasant experience. mike and bew x
