The menu offers a variety of options, making it a great choice for those with picky friends. I tried the Japanese eggplant dip ($13) with cilantro, chive, and cream fraiche, and it was delicious - a simple appetizer packed with flavor. The hamachi ceviche ($21) with cucumber, avocado, shrimp chips, cilantro, and Peruvian chili was so good that I wished it was bigger - I would definitely order two if sharing. The Caesar salad ($16) with romaine, prawn and croutons, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and Caesar dressing was also excellent, with perfectly crisp crumbs. The happy hour menu includes the Single burger for $14, served with arugula, tomato confit, caramelized onions, and French fries - all of which were delicious. Waverly is a great spot for good food and a fun vibe, perfect for sharing plates with friends and enjoying drinks during happy hour. Remember that happy hour is only available between 11am-3pm and 5pm-closing. Definitely worth a visit!

My family and I visited on a Saturday evening with our two young children, and despite it being a typically difficult combination for sit-down restaurants, the staff were incredibly accommodating and polite. The food was outstanding - I hesitate to say it, but the calamari salad was the best I've ever had. My partner enjoyed the steak and shrimp dish, and we couldn't resist ordering the Japanese crab for a $5 photo op. Our server Jeremy was fantastic, making us feel right at home and even taking extra care with the children. I was thoroughly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Make sure you make a reservation as this place is popular! And it’s worth the hype! Tapas style, but the portions are still generous enough so you’re feeling like you get a good value! The server helps guide you though your meal and makes sure you are ordering the appropriate amount of food. Cocktails are also really good here and there is a great wine selection. Can’t wait to return to such an oasis. The restaurant is open air and provides amazing views of the sunset!

The waitress did a fantastic job of taking care of us and answering all of our questions. The food was excellent, with the only exception being the funfetti pancakes, which were a bit too sweet. My only major complaint was the loud music, particularly the thumping bass. I asked multiple times if they could lower the volume, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. I value my hearing, so I will not be returning to dine here again.

This place is fantastic just like every other SDCM restaurant. Beautiful evening at the beach with great drinks and food. Small portions but we weren't left hungry. We arrived too early but they found a place for us. Desserts were unique. We'll definitely be going back soon!
