The dishes came once after the other, which was nice so w... read more We had a variety of japanese starters like gyoza,miso soup, tempura vegetables and 3 different sushis. The dishes came once after the other, which was nice so we had enough time to share each of the dishes. Of course all in all the dinner took some time, but therefore everything was prepared freshly. The quality and taste of each dish was extraordinary. And for that price it was extremely good. I can highly recommend a visit at Shiaadi, if you enjoy high quality Sushi and other japanese food and are willing to bring a little bit of time with you!

While the food itself was average if you happen to like tasteless pieces of raw fish with boiled rice, the service was appalling. As a waiter we had a rude and arrogant piece of work that tried to make us feel like cattle by his ill manners and supposedly witty silly remarks. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for the food appearing randomly on our table. My wife had to wait double that time for the same order my daughter had. God knows what happen in the kitchen. She started eating when the rest of us had practically finished up. We practically had to beg them to have the desserts menu handed to us, and again with rude remarks peppering the wait. As we were near the kitchen open top, which has no sanitary barriers from the public , by the way, we could see that they were more interested in the take away orders than in the restaurant costumers. We felt that we were on one of the Pesadilla en la cocina sets, not for the food itself, which as I said was belowish average and bland as it comes, but for the service, which by the way will elbow you three or four times if you happen to sit at the aisle side of the table. The restaurant itself is well decorated albeit poorly lighted, but believe me, the level of noise is so high, that I couldn 't practically hear across the table. I believe it has something to do with the acoustics, as the restaurant is shaped as a shoebox with high ceilings. The fact that the music is poorly chosen and at top volume, doesn 't help, of course. To talk, costumers have to shout, so do the staff, and here you have your noise perfect spiralled storm. I would only recommend going to this joint if you just have had a quarrel with your partner. You won 't be hearing anything he or she has to say, even if you wanted to. So, my recommendation would be, go once if your crave for blandness and fancy wasting your time and money.
