We chose this restaurant because The Lonely Planet rated it their "Top Choice" in Carcassonne, but it is the last time we will consult that book. Our meal here was disappointing at best. The smoked salmon entree was nothing special. My Scallop dish consisted of THREE scallops in their shells buried in finely chopped vegetables for 34.50 euros. We did not feel up to the award winning, multi- starred Cantine de Robert. However, literally across the street is an amazing Italian run by the same person, with the same chef but more affordable.
