Why would a restaurant have a display of a dozen or more live doves in a dirty makeshift bird enclosure in the middle of the restaurant? The enclosure is covered in bird feces and some of the birds are losing feathers. It is completely unsanitary and cruel. View all feedback.
You can't go somewhere called Saltwater and not get seafood.
Don't let the outside of this building fool you. Just driving by you won't find it too appealing. But inside this is as authentic as Newfoundland food gets. And another warning. Don't go here if you're looking for just a snack. The plate of food...More
We enjoyed our meals very much. The traditional "fries with the works" was awesome!! The turkey soup was homemade, and the sandwich was piled high!!

Best sweet and sour sauce I've had in my life. This place is always one of my first stops when I come home for a visit. I highly recommend the nuggets and homemade fries for anyone looking to try a quick meal. However, if you're looking for a good soup or home cooked meal they have that as well.
