Our group of 5 each got the 5 course meal, which was 170,00 pp. With the wine paring which we didn't do the cost would have been about 230,00 pp. We got two bottles of wine totaling under 200. Our bill was about 1050.00 EU. Highly curated plates. Excellent quality food and presentation. Helpful staff. But this is very much unlike most Capri restaurants. If you are into the precious little plate presentation, you will love Monzu. Just be aware of what awaits when you arrive and if you are expecting to have a typical pasta option of, say, pasta vongole, you won't find that there. PS When we were about to be seated, the staff had to move everyone inside (including the folks already seated outside) because it started to rain. This was done promptly and efficiently. There is an outside bar by the pool which is lovely. This is a highly professional and pleasant operation. The chef is meticulous, obviously.

We have one of the worst Dinners on Capri. In the beginning three years ago we have a great evening good service stuff and beautiful dishes. Thischanged completely a In 2022. The maitre was super arrogant and snobby we felt totallly uncomfortable in his near. No nice words no warm welcome, just boundaries with our order. Even they have no more a la carte list, like three years ago, now all guests MUST eat the same menu, even when the restaurant was not fully booked this evening. How could this be? Nice nice but expensive calculated wine list within specials. After our order the starter takes more then 45 minutes to be served, raw cuttlefish was tender with good aromas of lemon but pretty cold. The next dish was salted cod with tomato ice cream. Nice flavor of the ice but tasteless and cold cod. The best dish was homemade ravioli stuffed with lobster and finished with lobsterstock. Good tasty but nearly cold. The main course was an absolutely desaste, seabass from the oven with mussels. A super small slice of the fish served with 3 mussels, and overall again the dish and plate was cold. After asking the maitre we just get shrug of shoulder and no sorry. Again the attitude of the maitre was super rude, awkward and arrogant. Also a little bit disgusting: as a restaurant guest you were shown the restrooms from pool in the shower area of the pool guests. You have one toilet for women and men. What? Also the reservation agent told us more then 2 times that we have to wear no shorts and a long short or Sakko. At least half of the guests are sitting there in flipflop and shorts…? Overall never Monzu again, small cold dishes, no kindness at all and the dinner was more expensive then the excellent Olivio with 2 Michelin stars.
