Our hotel recommended it... read more We are obsessed with lobster pasta (all astiche) and go to Italy every year to eat dozens of them. D'amore was a wonderful experience. Our hotel recommended it and made a reservation. Service was impeccable, we also appreciated the little mises en bouche at the beginning and mignardises at the end. Not sure why the current Yelp rating is below 4 both food and service are great, don't miss this gem while you're in Capri!

From the simple lemon pasta that is out of this world to the complex smoked provola potato and pasta crock, we would eat here daily if possible! The homemade sorbets are just the perfect ending to a great meal! Lovely people and even better food!

It is a more expensive restaurant, so wouldn't recommend... read more We came here in Februrary, and it was one of the few restos open on Capri Island at this time of year. It is a more expensive restaurant, so wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a casual lunch. The waiters were a little overbearing and push about the menu. There was a Caponata salad that we enjoyed, but other than that, nothing special. Seems like the fresh market fish that they put on display could be a good choice to try.
