Our hotel recommended it... read more We are obsessed with lobster pasta (all astiche) and go to Italy every year to eat dozens of them. D'amore was a wonderful experience. Our hotel recommended it and made a reservation. Service was impeccable, we also appreciated the little mises en bouche at the beginning and mignardises at the end. Not sure why the current Yelp rating is below 4 both food and service are great, don't miss this gem while you're in Capri!

By far my favorite restaurant on our 12 day Italy trip. This was the restaurant our hotel provided for us for dinner. The restaurant is very cute. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and attentive and were very knowledgable about the menu. Now let's get to the important part! Their food recommendations were ON POINT! Everything we ate was outstanding. We started with caprese salad and a cooked eggplant/cheese dish in marinara sauce. Then went to a pesto pasta and a local lemon cheese pasta (the lemon pasta was the best thing we had that night). We ended with a lemon creme brûlée and my fiancé had the chocolate cake. I really appreciate how meticulous they were with the presentation of the food. Look at the pictures, especially the one of the chocolate cake dessert. So much attention to detail! This place was amazing. I wish we were here longer. I'd go back every night!

We had a 5 course tasting menu prepared by the chef and unfortunately all 5 dishes were fails.
