Pepe Nero - CAPODIMONTE

I visited Pepe Nero on 15th August 2021. That evening they were only serving the Ferragosto fish set menu, which was OK, but not great. The ink squid risotto was pretty plain. Same for the calamarata pasta. You could hardly find a piece of fish in the plates! Also the mojito sorbetto wasn't too great and tasted odd. I only enjoyed the starter to be honest. On the other hand the location is amazing. Beautiful terrace and wonderful atmosphere. What a shame that the food wasn't what we expected, given that this place is considered to be one of the best restaurants around the Bolsena lake. A bit pricey too, considering what was on the set menu.

Nice place , but everything just a little , food can t cost like this if you give me 5 small ravioli e 4 smaller piece of tuna , i m Sorry but price too High for One Oyster e two shrimps D&L

Whith The Boldsens Lake under your fedt, and White tablecloth, you Can enjoy a meal with a fantastic view! Also The food is exelent. We Will come back!

The location has a nice view. The staff was nice. I did find a small hair in my side dish and they replaced it right away. But I did ask for my leftovers to be boxed and when we got back to our hotel I noticed there was a long hair in my leftovers.

A lovely restaurant by the lake with a very comforting terrace ! The food is excellent at very reasonable prices for genuinely good products . Lovely atmosphere !
