I decided to check it out because it seemed like the most interesting spot in Santa Cruz, and it certainly lived up to that reputation. Established in 1947, the fantastic bartender has been working there for 18 years! I enjoyed wild boar ribs along with a glass of wine, and for dessert, the bread pudding topped with berries and whipped cream was delicious. I also had a wonderful conversation with an amazing woman and her two daughters at the bar. Plus, I enjoyed riding the tram elevator and sharing my experience on Instagram stories!

Surrounded by gardens and live plants inside. Certainly the highlight and why it 's a destination. Service was good, at the are you doing ok , do you want anything else level. Good was just average, and did not meet up to the expectations. Calamari was meh , pasta overcooked with seafood linguine, drinks good but didn 't really standout. Salad overdressed and tasted more out of a bottle than chef quality. The vibe here certainly is the star of show, now I want the food to match.
