The fish was dry and the veggies had no flavor. My cousin ordered a gluten free pasta and it was horrible. It was mushy and they put no effort on the sauce. They offered a free desert instead of removing out of the check the messed up dishes. When I go to a place like this, not only because the reputation, also because the high price, I expect excellent. I decided to check it out because it seemed like the most interesting spot in Santa Cruz, and it certainly lived up to that reputation. Established in 1947, the fantastic bartender has been working there for 18 years! I enjoyed wild boar ribs along with a glass of wine, and for dessert, the bread pudding topped with berries and whipped cream was delicious. I also had a wonderful conversation with an amazing woman and her two daughters at the bar. Plus, I enjoyed riding the tram elevator and sharing my experience on Instagram stories!

Good was just average, and did not meet up to the expectations. Calamari was meh , pasta overcooked with seafood linguine, drinks good but didn 't really standout. Salad overdressed and tasted more out of a bottle than chef quality. The vibe here certainly is the star of show, now I want the food to match.
