Great place to get a taste of creole food. Fortunately, they had the Gator PoBoy. I never tried gator meat and it tasted close to chicken. The children had tenderlings and the woman had the chicken creoles, which was delicious and filled. The PoBoy came with a vegan jambalaya that was also good. Overall, if you want to grab Cajun Fries...! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Roux Dat Cajun Creole:
We got there right before closing and we?re told we had to take our food to go. The food was good, we had the jambalaya and the chicken mushroom creole and beignets. I?d personally skip the beignets, but my dad liked them. View all feedback.

What a treat! The owner made me a Crescent City Po Boy (half shrimps, half oysters) and a side of Maque Choux. My buddy has the Jambalaya. Gambinis bread, generous portions, playing jazz, they even have chocolates!
What a great cozy place for some Cajun food. Red beans and rice, catfish and gumbo. I have to add the horn bread. Oh, my... All classics and ordered fresh. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The restaurant was very clean.
Really impressed. Authentic New Orleans food at very reasonable prices. We had their gumbo, fried green tomatoes, oyster po boy, jambalaya and shrimp and all were top quality. They have some tables outside in a pleasant mall plaza, as well as inside. I hope they open more restaurants!
