Gayle's Bakery Rosticceria - Capitola

One of the most important reasons to plan a trip to Pismo. Ha! I can't believe we finally made it to this bakery. That's it! You have a unique token system in which you need to pack a token at the entrance and wait until your number is called. We didn't know that and went right past and was wasted 10 minutes that admired everything in the bakery and just walk around to see that we had no token number. The crowd was huge for a weekday and strictly so. They have a cute terrace attached to the bakery so that people can dip. As soon as we got a number, it took about 15 minutes to call it (that was the amount). We ordered their carrot pane, the old-fashioned cinnamon roll and the amazing pecan chicks. The chicks were one of the best I've ever eaten Crisp, Caramel ly and Fresh. In addition, a latte and dripping coffee was awarded! Can't wait to go back and try out their sales.

Love this relaxing garden! The bakery is great, there are many choices for your selection. Staffs are nice and helpful which make you feel comfortable. The eating area is so chill, even the day we visited was cloudy I still can feel the warm and loving atmosphere. I will definitely visit Gayle's again with my family!

Famous bakery thats been around for years. They have great food (sandwiches, delicious, salads, etc. and especially baked goods (croissants, pastries, cookies, pies, cakes and more!! . Very popular, but they have lots of folks at the counter so the line (numbers moves really quickly. Carrot cake is really good (so is most everything else, I'm sure! . One thing to know is that while a whole cake is a little pricey, if you ask them, they'll sometimes sell you just a slice or two (they can cut up a whole cake if needed , just ask. Worth a visit if you haven't been there before!

Great place. So many options for baked goods. You also have large collection of Deli articles. Service is great. You have really nice outdoor terrace. Definitely stop here on the way to Capitola beach.
