Amazing hotel, with good service and beautiful view

Our favourite place to stay in Cape Town. Right on the V&A waterfront. They gave us the same room that we had in 2017.

Doesn't get 5 stars from me. While service and food was good the decor needs an upgrade. No smart TV. No usb charging ports. And the furnishings felt chaded and outdated. For the price I want better.

Terrible service. Hotel is a Dump. Just we arrive today. Any offer for help with my suitcases the doormans was talking, playing. I went to reception room was not ready. Lunch was okei. Internet its terrible!, only 2 lamps work, no light in the ceiling. I call housekeeping because i need sheet for the couch and her answer was” let me see if we have sheets avalaible ” worse hotel!!!! It missed expectations completely. The poor service starts from the porters at the front door being very unhelpful and almost disdainful in how they approach their work. The place has become pretty shabby and in need of an upgrade with appalling internet that is borderline unusable. Poor service continues with housekeeping, room service and front desk staff rather out off if you ask for basic expected items such as ice for sodas, a corkscrew or sheets for the hideabed.
