The old Vic Bar. Newly renovated and looking spiffy like The Striped Horse on Kloof, this is the place to watch the upcoming local music on Wednesday night. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. It is a classic Cape Town organizer, cooled vibes and lack of persistence usually when I visit. Make a stop and try the Striped Horse camp, you can't go wrong. View all feedback.

Great vibe, well priced drinks (incredibly fast drink service), and all the food was great with the exception of the Beef Chilli Bowl. R125 for a plate of dry corn chips with a small helping of mince on the side. Definitely feel hard done by. Would still recommend the restaurant, however. View all feedback.
The food was good. we went there on play night, pretty nice and that was good.

Such a great pub/Vic has a great interior, ingeniously well lit bar! Large exterior door seating with view of the table mountain the striped horse beer is the best, from the tap and cold as ice fantastic
Chilled place (Victorian style house) to pack a beer during the week. In the middle of the Vibey Kloof St. Staff is super well maintained and friendly. Beautiful terrace to cool during the summer months. Recommended for chilled drinks
Nice place, good but grumpy bar man. Maybe that adds to the vibe. Great Moscow Mule
