What Mary Mallozziberg doesn't like about Washington Inn Wine:
A very poor experience on a special occasion (60th anniversary). The service was good but the food was not good except for the appetizers. The ribeye for two at a price of $125 was tough and grisly, unable to be cut, and was almost raw even though we ordered medium. Even the potatoes were not warm. Superlative dining experience. Our server, Miles, was personable and knowledgeable of the menu and gracious at every turn. The food was scrumptious, beautifully presented, and very well prepped. Simon, the sommelier was charming and quite experienced at suggesting pairings with our foie gras and duck/beef entrees. Service el throughout was on point
Lovely early dinner experience— great menu choices, delish flavors, gluten free accommodation was not a problem as choices were clearly noted, friendly expedient service-Ann was knowledgeable, offered suggestions when necessary and kept a positive vibe in our porch setting. So glad to dine here whenever we make the trip to Cape May. They are a well run restaurant with a team who care about the customers experience.

Another fantastic dining experience; The Washington Inn is our go-to for a special night out. They kindly seated us at our requested table in the patio area, and then Daniel, our server, took it from there. He was attentive without being intrusive, paced everything perfectly. As usual, the food was delicious, and we are looking forward to our next special occasion to celebrate there.
This is a “must go to” restaurant. Excellent meals made even better by outstanding service (thank you again Melissa! . Highly recommend having dinner here. Can't imagine how our birthday celebration could have been better.
