The waiter appeared with them, then proceeded to stand behind where we were sitting staring at us making us feel very uncomfortable. We quickly drank up and left.. Never to return.

The bar was busy but it was sti... read more After a long journey, we sat down at bar Willies in the evening and had a nice cool beer and a plate with pork, fries and salad. The bar was busy but it was still very quiet surronded by pine trees, very simple but enjoyable. The bar serves simple dishes, great if kids are along.

On the two days we attended, I was served the best 'prawns in garlic butter ' that I have had of ANY Spanish eatery, bar none. My Wife 's chicken salad was spot-on and the chips were 4 out 5!!! During our 2 week stay on the island this was the only location that was able and willing to serve a 0.5 litre of beer, that was a true half a litre and not 3 inches of froth on top or a large beer being a small beer but served in a different shaped glass to give the impression of a larger serving. My partner 's coke was the bigger glass bottle and not the catering short bottle. As stated in the title I can appreciate some of the comments about the service acumen, but I think it 's too late to teach the old boy new tricks. One of the issues, which is not entirely their fault, is that when you sit outside the traffic of cars looking for parking spaces is off-putting. But give it a try....
