We visited Cala Ratjada in 2011 and never found time to eat in El Cactus (what a mistake) ... so visiting this year (July'2013) we made an effort to eat there and we were reward with good food a good service.

This restaurant was recommended by an expat who told us that eating is good. eating is okay. I asked for a reservation and heard good evening? are we in Spain or Germany? So came and were greeted, wondered if we could sit outside and the waitress gave us a categorical no. another gentleman who looked like the boss just asked her for a(ll in german) if we could sit outside, but she didn't shout. the menu is ok, continental nothing really was from the ordinary, appetizers were minimal and simply normal. the restaurant is very expensive for the ambiente, the feeling, the experience and the eating trip. but if they come to mallorca to eat food that is not medium, then they find this place to their taste.
