I have finally found the hidden gem I have been searching all my life for. A beautifully done Neapolitan pizza right in the heart of Paestum. The dough was to die for; soft, fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. The toppings on this pizza came together so well that I shed a tear. First love at first bite. Tomato sauce, oregano, olive oil, black olives, anchovies and an evenly delicious coating of goat cheese that made my heart melt. If a goal in your life isn’t to dine at Ristorante Simposium, I beg you to make it a goal. It is a crime to not try a pizza from this place I consider heaven on earth.

As we needed some dinner we checked the evening hours and I came back later to order take away pizza. The Ofen was just fired up as I arrived right after they reopened at 18:00 The pizzas were great and we enjoyed them so much. Super tasty, cross, and still hot after I took them home (2km on the bicycle). The prices are very reasonable, 5EUR for margarita, 6 for diavola and the other one with Parma ham, rucola and mozzarella was 10 EUR.

Slow and bad service not even close to be organized. Staff looked inexperienced with lots of confusion. The also forgot to bring me the coke I ordered. Still waiting for them to be delivered to our table. They forgot that as well. Thanks for the fries, they were NOT amazing.
