Ice creams and pastries are tasty and fresh. We went for an afternoon snack.

Side salad large eno... read more Deceptively large modern restaurant opposite the temple complex. We got a table easily as only about half full. Pizza was okay, very large. Side salad large enough for two was thrown together and not very imaginative but olive oil and balsamic vinegar made it more interesting. There service was prompt but the staff were morose and unfriendly. We were clearly a great inconvenience to them. They all kept nipping out for a fag too in-between serving. Saving grace, it was not expensive.

Although usually go for the excellent fresh fish, settled for pizza this time, in my case the storica “marinara”. Did not disappoint. All washed down with a local Palinuro white wine. The jewel in the crown of this place is Marco, a member of staff. Great guy with top notch knowledge. Let him guide you and give you inspiration. Grazie Marco.
