Located conveniently close to Aboiteau beach, this restaurant offers a menu primarily focused on fried foods with decent portion sizes. The grilled cheese uses processed cheese, while the club sandwich features real chicken. The fried seafood is average compared to other spots in Cap Pelé, but the oceanfront location offers a beautiful dining experience. Despite some complaints about bland and greasy food, the service is efficient and the beach view from the upstairs dining area is a highlight. With generous portions and a variety of options, it's a great spot for seafood lovers seeking value for money and a casual dining experience. Cheers!.

Was Ghislain Basque at A La Dune a mag?
Located right by the beach, this restaurant is one of the best spots for traditional fast food, serving up fresh and delicious seafood! The scallops, fried clams, and fish and chips were fantastic! It's definitely the top place to enjoy seafood in New Brunswick, and the portions are generous enough to share. The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. With plenty of seating both indoors and outdoo... View all feedback.
What Georgina Lakatos dislikes about A La Dune:
We liked the convenience of this restaurant, being so close to Aboiteau beach. The menu featured almost exclusively fried foods, and coleslaw was the closest relative to a vegetable to be found. Nice that they have a kids' menu. Good sized portions. View all feedback.
There are many fried clams/seafood locations in Cap-Pele but my wife, daughter and I went there for lunch today as we heard they had great fried clams. We each ordered a ⅓ order of clams at $ 13 a plate and a side order or fries. The service was friendly and very fast for a beach house on a sunny Sunday in July - the wait after we ordered was only 5 minutes. The ½ orders of fried clams gave a very good portion. The food was hot and the clams were tasty but a bit large ( almost a bar clam ) and a bit undercooked. The fries were hot but not home made. So based on our experience, we found the clams to be average - very good . Clams are never cheap and hence our half orders and one french fries came to $ 50.00
The fried seafood at this restaurant is average, similar to other restaurants in the Cap Pelé area. However, the location is excellent, right on the oceanfront. You have the option to dine indoors or outdoors. If I were to come back, it would only be for the beautiful location.
This restaurant is a hidden gem for seafood lovers. You get a great value for your money here, with generous portions and non-greasy dishes. Despite being busy, the service is fast and efficient. Plus, you can enjoy a beach view from the upstairs dining area.
