Right next to Brussa beach, a nature reserv... read more We have come here many times over the past goodness knows how many years. The location is, in my opinion a big plus. Right next to Brussa beach, a nature reserve, and you can also arrive here by boat (we didn't). It's a fish restaurant- makes sense, and they do a good job.... But for me it's lost a bit of its heart. Recently it's undergone a refurb, all very nice, but as I remember it from years gone by, you used to be able to see them grilling the polenta outside, it had a more rustic, undiscovered appeal. We arrived at 12 noon, to be told there was a 90 minute wait for a table- you can't pre book. I'd anticipated it being busy and we were ok with that. The bit that seems quite un relaxing is the way they call out each party via a microphone, multiple times, and it feels like you're in an auction room!! We got our table, the food was fine (mine a bit less than fine) the service was ok (they were rammed so given that factor- they did ok). They have quite nice outside space for families- perhaps they could fix the broken swing if they see this. I will surely return, but it doesn't feel like the be all that i had fondly remembered. Should you go? Yes! But If you can't get a table there are also several other equally good restaurants less than half a mile away too.

Crowded on weekends: please note reservations are not accepted. It is very likely you will have to wait: restaurant is actually well organised to make this waiting an enjoyable experience at the bar and/or walking around the small harbour close to the place. The place is a NATURAL OASIS called Brussa (between Caorle e Bibione . The Restaurant is also renting small boats to visit the oasis and/or go to Caorle or Bibione. Beautiful experience for kids. In the evening mosquitos are very likely to show up in big groups (help! ... but restaurant has developed an interesting and working natural way to heal this experience while eating... worth to go there to see...
