Set beneath Denali Park's entrance, this modern, view-filled restaurant paired with on-site cabins offers solid beers and occasional standouts like Alaskan salmon and bison chili. Guests enjoy the atmosphere and scenic setting but note inconsistent food quality, missing cocktail ingredients, and slow or uneven service during seasonal rushes—some report poor handling of large parties. Prices feel high for portions. A convenient option for tourists and couples, but expect waits and variable dining experiences.

We were hopeful when we first walked in because the inside is modern. The staff was very friendly. We give prey a 3 due to the food and the lack of ingredients for cocktails on their menu. We ordered chicken wings and the cheese steak egg rolls. To be perfectly honest, neither were very good and were quite pricey. We paid 16 dollars for a small order of chicken wings that did not have much flavor. The egg rolls were very overdone and were pretty much burnt. Save some money, and head to McKinley creekside Cafe or panorama pizza. The food at those places puts the food at prey to shame.

Alaskan salmon was great and the beer I chose was pretty good too (Alaskan white . Reminded me of a blue moon. Topped it off with a nice apple crisp and ice cream combo :

Stopped at Prey, a resort-priced dinner spot, for a quick dinner on our way out of Denali National Park. Tried the Alaska Fish Chips (beer-battered Prince William Sound halibut, coleslaw, tartar sauce, fries) and the Caribou Meatloaf (spicy tomato jam, red bliss mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts). The meatloaf was delicious (every once in a while you got a game-y bite, but overall well-seasoned). The fish batter could've used some seasoning, but it was nice and crispy. Overall, service was friendly and prompt. The desserts looked good, but we were too full to try any.
