My favorite type of pizza: thin crust, crispy like a cracker, not too thick, good sauce. I loved it. If this is also your favorite pizza, you should visit an Anthonys CFP location. I'll be back! View all feedback.
What Scott Petrock doesn't like about Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza:
Just another pizza and wing joint. They forgot to put my pizza order in, then got busy and an hour later finally we ate. Place is too concerned about to go orders and not about in house meals. Great pizza! I'm not a crust, but I enjoyed the crust from this pizza. the pfefferoni was tasty and you can really taste it! in contrast to other places where it is almost completely tasteless. the sauce was great and had a little to sing. I'm not a tomato fan and there were blobs of tomato cracks. my was not so big and I ate it, but my sister who likes tomates has actually scraped a very big piece from her disc. the staff was very friendly and kudos to my waitress with the colorful hairs, which put up with my hijinks and made me delicious cherry coke. definitely recommend to come here.
Since the move to pittsburgh I'm looking for a good pizza place. no open for local, but most pizza places here are below average. After living in new haven, philly, boston, montreal, I always found a first-class South Italy cake. After some try in individual restaurants I decided to try anthony’s coal fired pizza. I was hesitant because I'm hesitant at chain restaurants. I didn’t know that anthony’s, like pepe’s in new haven, is extended and thus is a limited chain. so it is not even comparable to a place like papa john’s or domino’s. the pizza is incredible. it is very well boiled (not boiled), the sauce is not too sweet (in contrast to some local places), the ingredients are fresh quality, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. this is our go-to pizza place, and I would recommend everything on the menu. we drive 25 minutes for this pizza, probably 10 pizzerias on the way.

Dined recently with some family visiting the area and the food was great like it always is (the wings especially). Additionally, the service was great as well. Not too often do you get both good food and good service these days, but that’s exactly what we got here! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
