Description
At a popular service station on the M6, experiences at the restaurant are mixed. While some guests praised the efficient service and friendly staff, others lamented poor drink quality, particularly the coffee, which failed to meet expectations and left a sour impression. Despite the high prices, many felt the beverages were subpar. Conversely, standout employees, like barista Noah, were recognized for their exceptional service during busy periods, contributing warmth to the environment. Overall, while the establishment has its merits, particularly in service, significant improvements are needed to elevate the drink offerings to match the standards expected from a well-known brand like Costa.

What a dump outside!!!! Grabbed a couple of orange juices for a car journey break and sat outside as the weather was glorious. Bins overflowing, rubbish scattered on the ground, tables and chairs everywhere, not at all wiped down. Inside the door there was a clear rubbish bag with rubbish leaking all over the floor for what looked like hours! Come on Costa! You charge us top dollar, surely you can employ someone to keep the place tidy while the others work their socks off at the till?!?!
I stopped at this restaurant for a coffee break. I enjoyed a great cup of coffee while my youngest had a Fanta. It was a nice place to take a break before continuing our journey.
Queues out the door which is understandable but extremely rude staff, cold coffees and a teapot that was only half full and didn't even give me a full cup of tea is disgraceful especially at the prices they charge. Asked for a couple of teaspoons to have one thrown at me and then told we couldn't have any more. Asked for a sausage bap and was told that they are at the other counter. Well why are you advertising them at this counter then?? False advertising?? This is an experience I won't be repeating here. Would rather go to McDonald's
Roadside stop for a coffee break,at the services, single staff, was as sharp as a tack, but coffee was welcome at the early hours of the morning
I stopped in for a quick lunch at this restaurant. The staff heated up the macaroni and cheese for me and gave me a spoon to eat it with. I asked for a fork, but they told me to go to a different outlet to request one. After insisting, they finally found a pack of forks, but were surprised that I didn't want to eat with a spoon. It may not seem like a big issue, but if a restaurant doesn't have the appropriate utensils for a meal, they should let the customer know beforehand.
