Fabulous food as expected). Fabulous service from Katie C!!!! Felt incredibly bad as we didn’t have change for a tip and unable to tip on card, when she deserved it as such a lovely girl : definitely reccomend and definitely will be coming back!! View all feedback.
What Herlaping doesn't like about The Sky Room, The Ramada Cannock:
The restaurant is on the 12th floor of the Holiday Inn and has glass windows giving a good view over Cannock and the area. The service is really good, staff friendly and efficient. The beer is fine. The food was ok, much what you get in a pub, (although I did only try the chili). A decent pace to eat View all feedback.
I was staying at the Holiday Inn so thought I’d eat in the sky bar restaurant wish I hadn’t bothered. Starter ribs in Jim bean sauce Hardily any meat, very very bland. Main mixed grill Without a doubt the worst mixed grill I’ve had. The steak gammon were tough and chewy. The cheap sausage was stone cold in the middle. Menu describes the chips as double or tripped cooked, they were neither. The chips were straight from a bag into the fryer. The onion rings tasted like they’d been fried in a cake mix, awful. The only nice bit was the chicken. At £17 I couldn’t help feeling ripped off. Definitely wouldn’t eat here in future and would advise everyone to avoid.

Randomly popped in with friends but did not regret it. The decor was classic. Beautiful food and friendly Staff.
We popped here after a busy day and were expecting run of the mill pub food but were pleasantly surprised. The menu is tour typical chicken, burgers, lasagna, steaks etc but we knew that beforehand. But to our surprise it was all superb. It was really really tasty. It was fresh and thoroughly well cooked and the portions were plentiful. The waiting time wasn’t bad either especially after the waitress had already pre warned us that they were short staffed. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely return. The views are lovely and it’s nice to have somewhere “different” to dine out in Cannock rather than a pub. Two soft drinks and two mains came to £27 so really good value for money too. Shame it wasn’t a little busier for the atmosphere but we were really impressed overall.
