It was a delightful dining experience and we look forward to returning.

I had to get anoth... read more The waitress was difficult to understand and communicate with. I tried to order grappa but she kept saying prawns. Her English was very poor. I had to get another staff member to check my order and grappa was not included. The meals did not all come out at the same time, and my son's pizza was delayed. The staff member did listen when we asked for extra ice cream in my son's milkshake, but the waitress was not helpful at all. She did not repeat our order back to us and just walked away. When we paid the bill, it was higher than expected but the staff member caught the mistake and adjusted it. There seemed to be a double charge. The noise of screaming kids from a nearby playground was disruptive, but that was not the restaurant's fault.

My meal was perfect, veal funghi with vegetables, my partners' was ok but could not taste the garlic on the creamy garlic prawns, and we have had this dish may times before at other restaurants, the rice was covered in the sauce which was a bit much. The main meal prices are high, however we would definitely go here again for a special occasion, they did have other more reasonably priced dishes which I will try next time. A lovely place to go for something a little more special other than pub food.
