There are signs in the window tha... read more I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it has always been a reliable choice for delicious food and quick service. There are signs in the window that say "don't get angry when your food takes too long" and "good food takes time", but in the 13 years I have been coming here, they have never been necessary. It's time for the staff to improve their skills and not blame the customers. Waiting 25 minutes for an order from the fryer when there is no one in line ahead of you is unacceptable.

It's really a modified food truck, but forever. You have a beautiful grass area on the side with picnic tables. Great if you don't want to eat in your car and good if you travel with pets. You even have a... doggy walk area. Now the food. I see many happy faces. Although I only order the Pommes with engraving. Delicious. And the service is fast and always with a smile. A great stop on the way to the cottage.

I have seen a negative review from someone who was rude, but having worked in customer service and in a hot kitchen, I know how challenging it can be. Everyone has their bad days, regardless of whether they own the business or not. It's important to have empathy for those in the service industry and appreciate the hard work they put in every day. I highly recommend Skippers, the food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. Just a simple smile can go a long way when you visit!

I have personal... read more The attitudes at this restaurant are the worst I have ever encountered. It is sickening to see how they treat customers and potential customers. I have personally experienced their rude behavior and have witnessed them treating others the same way. I am shocked that they are still able to stay in business.
