Always reserve in advance because you’ll rarely find an available table. Their rooftop (cloud nine)is also a good place to chill when done from dinner downstairs.

I cannot expl... read more We recently visited Baoli beach where we enjoyed a lovely dinner and then moved to the rooftop bar (Cloud Nine) to enjoy some after dinner drinks. I cannot explain how shocked I was when we were told that we had to leave because ‘our black friend was too drunk’. I have honestly never experienced such open and blatant racism in all my years and I was utterly disgusted by the behaviour of the staff, not only the staff who made the accusation, but the staff that stuck by that accusation without any real substance and pretended as if there was no big deal. Honestly I am horrified that this sort of behaviour is even allowed in society nowadays and has truly reflected awfully on our trip to Cannes and our visit to Baoli. Many of you may read this review assuming that we did something wrong. We had our drinks. We paid our bills and behaved liked civilised customers, only to be treated in the most foul way, and I felt it incredibly important that people know the sort of establishment that they may be visiting. Please if anyone else has experienced abuse similar to this I hope that they post and alert people to the sort of disgusting behaviour that we experienced from the staff at Baoli.
