As I am vegan, I was very pleased to see many vegan options on the menu (this is quite rare in Cannes). The food was absolutely delicious! I normally had the vegetarian(shared) platter (making sure it is made vegan), which costs 30 euro each. It is worth every cent as the portions are super big and the food is very tasty! My friends did say the meat was great too.Afterwards, I asked the waitor to bring us some vegan pastries of his choice for dessert and he did that without hesitation. The baklava is outstanding! We also had some mint tea with our dessert, which was very nice too! The mint smelled very fresh, however they sweeten it themselves, so if you don't like sweet tea make sure to ask for no sugar or sweetener in it before. Overall, all my experiences in Al Charq have been extremely positive and I would surely recommend it to all!

The quantities were generous and we asked... read more We came by chance to this restaurant and the experience was wonderful. Excellent Lebanese food and beautiful service. The quantities were generous and we asked to take what we couldn't manage. This made for another delicious meal the next day. Service was friendly and fast... with concern that we had what we wanted. Overall an impressive and inexpensive place.
