However, the coffee, including both the cappuccino and espresso, was severely under-extracted and had an overpoweringly sour taste reminiscent of tart cranberries. The mocha was a better option, as the chocolate helped balance out the sourness. The cappuccino had only a small amount of foam (less than a centimeter deep), making it more like a latte. On the bright side, the latte art was a lovely addition. Additionally, the seating was comfortable and spacious.

The piccolo is a solid choice for those who prefer a stronger taste in a smaller serving. Prices here are fair, and you can enjoy a 50-cent discount if you bring your own reusable cup. They also offer pastries, non-coffee items from the fridge, coffee equipment, and their own chocolate and coffee beans.

Place was quite busy. We got a hazelnut latte, mocha, veggie wrap, granola and banana bread. Latte was perfect, mocha was little sweet to my preference with subtle hint of coffee at the end. Wrap was quite filling with eggs, beans and veggies but needed some flavorful spices. Not many food options (for vegetarians) but will be back for coffee.

I set up for a few hours to work on classes and was provided with excellent service by the baristas. They brought my coffee straight to my table with a smile. I had asked for a “surprise” and they nailed it!!! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quaint cafe with wonderful and efficient service. Will be going back often!
