Blake - Canmore
Blake
Description
The restaurant, located in a former automotive shop turned microbrewery, offers a variety of vegan-friendly options alongside a great selection of drinks. While some menu items like the cauliflower steak were lacking in flavor and overly oily, others like the vegetable dumplings and plant-based ice cream received praise. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent, making it a great spot for both vegan and non-vegan diners. Highlights included the duck wings appetizer, kimchi fried rice, and the Farmer Crumble Ice Cream. Overall, it's a must-visit spot in Canmore for delicious food and a great dining experience.

Had the tofu bao and veggie dumplings, they were tasty. Portion sizes on the smaller size. Went back the next day for delicious vegan ice cream.
Very accommodating for vegans and some of the “VO” (vegan options) are really just vegan! Staff is fantastic and food it amazing!!! Updated from previous review on 2023-09-21
The menu says VEO means it can be made vegan....but no items have this beside them sadly atm
We really loved this place. Nice selection of vegan options. We shared the Lettuce Tofu wraps and the Baked Cauliflower. It was great to share, giving more taste treats to each of us!! The warps had a selection of delicious house made pickles and kimchi and rice and crispy noodles. Baked Cauliflower was delicious! There were also vegan nice-cream choices, but we were too stuffed for dessert: . Great house brewed beers and spirits. Non-alcoholic beer and other mock-tails. Nice modern/industrial environment …. Huge garage windows/doors leading out to the deck for warmer weather…. With wow mountain views: A Canmore treat!!!!
