Great layout with many interesting holes. Course was in good shape and the starter spaced us well enough that we were not shot waiting or holding up shots. Greens were good, although typical public track that many pitch marks were not repaired. I played it twice. Excellent. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kennsington Golf Club Grille:
Had a 10:10 tee time Sat July 1 starter let us go out at9:50 play first two holes fine got to the third hole and the course let 8 guys go in one group it took me and my some 1 hour and 45 minutes to play 5 holes when we got to number 6 a downpour with lightning started we drove back in and on the way in all greens were flooded could have been done with our nine of course had enough sense not to let a group of 8 play... Service was great. Food was cold. Entree and sides did not come out at same time. The silverware looks like it came from the $1 store.
Traps need a lot of work. Overall though the course was in great. A few holes with weird forced carry's. Greens were soft today due to rain.
TERRIBLE FOOD. First the waitress was inexperienced and brought us the wrong drinks; then she forgot our dinner order. When we finally got this straightened out our food came. The steak had been soaked in an acidic marinate so long that it was mush. Literally, the meat was soaked in oil and had the consistency of mashed potatos. ugh! My wife's chicken was also soaked in some kind of grease or oil, it too was inedible. We left our food on the table and walked out. This place used to be good; but not anymore.
Stopped in to enjoy the Friday Fish Special, sat on the porch and ate, great view. Great waitress, the best, great personality.
EXTREMELY overpriced. This is not a $65/18 course and even worse...$40 for 9? LOL Not for this course. The layout is fine but the greens are always torn up and the bunkers look like they have never been worked on them. Ever. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one when I say I'm probably done with Kennsington.
