What Anonym dislikes about Era Cova:
Just no.The food looked the part, but in no way whatsoever resembled that in taste. Undercooked pork, chicken sauce balance completely wrong, calamari was okay???P Catalan creme: you can feel the powdered mixture separate from a milky taste. 57 € with 4 drinks.I must say though, the muscle starter was okay-ish.I would never recommend this, do not come here if you value your health. Have been here four times now over the last year. I love it. The service is terse, yes, but the lady has a real sense of humour and we had a giggle over the language barriers. The stuffed aubergine to start was yummers and the veal stew was delicious. The profiteroles... OMG. Lush. Have had their paella in the past. It's delicious too. Looking forward to my next visit.

Came here on a Sunday lunchtime out of season. Had the 15€ menu and the portions are very generous indeed, as well as being delicious. Highly recommend for a low key but satisfying meal.

We chose the Era Cova because of the cosy terrace seating, which was already a plus compared to the others in Bosost, but were impressed with the lunch time menu. Nice atmosphere, delicious, well prepared, local food, and good value. I took one point off because the service could be improved. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Bosost.

Yummy paella for two, two entrees (an interesting legume salad and a tomato cheese macaroni which wasn't the best), two desserts and a house white wine karaffe all for 32.5€. highly recommended, but don't plan on eating again that day it was very filling!

Came here during our long stay in Bossost based on other reviews and seeing people eating in there on other days. We all chose the €19 menu as it looked good, but it was mostly disappointing, especially compared to everywhere else we have eaten in Bossost all week. Starters: The aubergine stuffed with meat had very little meat and a lot of bechamel sauce, with little flavour. The hojaldre with pate was a vol-au-vent with mushrooms, more bechamel and some vegetables. Main course: lamb was well cooked and tasted good, the squid was rubbery, the pork ribs were OK. All were accompanied by a poor selection of vegetables, which included the same mushrooms that made up much of the starter, half a very small baked potato with some cheese on it, and a few other bits. Generally there was too much cheese and white sauce. We had bread with the meal, but they were all stale. We had to ask for oil and vinegar, but were only delivered some small packets of oil. This was really odd when we found at the end of the meal that they had the usual oil and vinegar selection inside (we were outside). The desserts were very poor. I love cheescake, but left half of mine as it felt like it had come from a packet with some blackcurrant jam placed on top. The creme caramel (flan) was reasonable, the crema catalana was not good being grainy with added sugar and not very flavourful. The service was terse and unfriendly (very un-Spanish); the staff gave us little time to choose and wanted to clear plates quickly. I can only hope that based on the other reviews and photos that they were simply having a bad day. But based on all the other places we have eaten in Bossost they are much better quality at lower or similar prices.
