I have never been more gla... read more Our group ate here for dinner one night while on vacation when another restaurant at which we had planned on eating was fully booked. I have never been more glad that we missed a reservation. The food was impeccable and the service was wonderful. Even before the appetizer was over I was ready to leave a five star review. I would definitely eat here again when in the Asheville area and this place deserves to have fully booked reservations.

The... read more We stopped here for a late lunch and both of us had that experience of tipping your head back and rolling your eyes up because the food was THAT DELICIOUS! The owner is the chef and *definitely* knows what he's doing in the kitchen. *Perfect* cook on the salmon with salad greens (with perfect dill dressing) and perfect combo of the winter squash gnocchi with apples... seriously so flippin' good!!!

As a small business owner myself I can assure you that consumers are willing to pay extra to get the service desired. Perhaps contract with UBER eats or another food delivery service and pass the cost on to the consumer but never say sorry we can't deliver at the moment due to our people being out. There is always a solution to every problem......

The dressing and marinated black raspberries with goat cheese were perfectly dressed and totally yummy. I also ordered a peach cheesecake to go. The cheesecakewas delicious with no bleeding of the peaches to ruin the texture. I was also impressed that whoever put the cheesecake in thetogo box did so perfectly..the nicely piped whipped cream wasn't even smudged. A sign that someone cared unreasonably which isthe benchmark of a good restaurant. As good as the food was, the service was even better. My server had a number of tables andshe made everyone feel like the only ones in the restaurant. When I ordered the cheesecake to go she suggested that I get a cupof coffee as well. Perfect suggestion since I was driving and she made fresh coffee for me. Best service I have had for quite awhile.

We were looking forward to our meals as we enjoyed it so much last time. However, we waited over an hour for our food and when it was finally placed in front of us wewere disappointed. For the price($9-$12 $7 extra for chicken), the salads were very small and had maybe 5 nuggets of chicken onthem. Overall, when you are looking forward to a meal, pay a lot for it, and wait over an hour you expect to be satisfied withwhat is placed in front of you. All of us were finished eating in under 10 minutes. Everything together made for a badexperience.
