Tupelo - Canberra

It's a nice, warm spot with cool decor for lunch... read more I've been to Tupelo twice now. The first time, I ordered a tomato toastie and coffee and they were super great. It's a nice, warm spot with cool decor for lunch. Then today there were two sandwiches on the menu, and one of the staffmembers...said there was also a turkey sandwich. I asked what was in the turkey one, and he said turkey I was pretty surprised when I took a bit of my toastie and it had bacon in it. I don't eat bacon for ethical reasons, and I would have appreciated being told that it had bacon in it, especially because I asked. This does explain why the toastie was more expensive than the ones actually on the menu.

But it's the coffee that Tupelo is developing their...reputation for- best in Canberra? Possibly!
