Interesting food and the coffee is excellent. Have had both breakfast and lunch and was not disappointed either time.
Teddy Picker's is another brunch place that's been on my list for a while, and I finally headed there on Sunday. We had to wait a little while for a table, but were seated quickly enough and more importantly the coffee came quickly after that. The coffee was good enough, although no wow. I ordered my usual conglomeration of foods, with mixed results. The eggs were delicious, some of the best to date and were well seasoned. The greens were exceptional, flavoursome and yummy. The pork, chilli and fennel sausage was packed with flavour and a nice change from chorizo. The feta was nice enough, although the portion wasn't overly generous comparatively. The toast was sourdough but a focaccia which made it a bit softer than I like - next time I'd try the rye. The bacon was a bit warm ham-like for my tastes. The hollandaise was smoked and to me it was just very salty, so I didn't enjoy that very much.It was by no means a bad experience with some components being awesome, and some of their other dishes were very appealing visually. My friend reported similar things on her pikelets - well presented, some components amazing but not as strong overall. So I'd probably go back, I would just be more careful with my next order.
