We were craving Katsudon and Curry and tried this place and were NOT dissapointed! Super friendly service and cute decor made us welcome and they served us water and took our order right away! Then we didn’t wait long and got the biggest bowl of yummy edamame beans and our Chicken Katsudon and Chicken Curry, and they were delicious! Highly recommend this place wish we were locals so we could go every week! View all feedback.
What Wingecarribee dislikes about Tasuke:
After a long wait for my food (others who arrived after me had their meals served first) I was somewhat disappointed with the food. The teriyaki beef was not what I expected, rather than thin slices the meat was in small chucks and coated, becoming gelatinous-like on the outside and in lots of sauce. The stir fry pork and miso eggplant were okay. I think the ramen/noodle soup options might have been a better choice.... View all feedback.

This place is god damn garbage......Who the hell makes tempura celery??? the rest of what I ordered was **** and basically had the flavour combo of 3 crayons.....The price tag was what can only be described as murder. Makes me never want to go back
Meal was ok, super expensive sashimi but the beer was nice and cold. Major problem was my credit card was skimmed, and ended up being used to buy $6000 worth of tools in Wyoming. Don’t hand your card over.
I have walked past this place a 1000 times. Was looking for something different. Saw the $10 lunchtime specials and thought what the hell, let’s give it a go. WOW Talk about a hidden secret. I had the chili beef Rama and my friend had vegetarian Rama. Both were deliciously fresh and flavor some. Everything you would expect from a Japanese Restaurant !! I’ll definitely be back.
We were after Japanese food that would cater to a lot of varied tastes for a group of five. Decor was great. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing. Service was fast and they were pretty full when we arrived. This place reminded us of the small restaurants we found in Japan. All the dishes were good sized portions and the ramen and udon were very filling. Some of the group had dessert and that was just as good as the meals. Fantastic find and it will go on our list to return to next time we're in Canberra.

Amazing atmosphere, feels like you're in an authentic Japanese house. Fresh and delicious food at a reasonable price. Super fast and friendly service.
Nice little casual café. Come so early. Yummy Food and fast service the Ramen was great! Not very spicy, although sharp when ordering. Salate was delicious and Udon was good. The Oldashi Tofu was very tasteful.
Had the deep fried oysters and the Aal udon wonderful, absolutely delicious! And a really nice atmosphere as being transported directly into the heart of Japan
It’s a cozy place to have dinner. Ordered miso ramen, Takoyaki and Teriyaki chicken, so yummmy! I think the ramen is the best I have ever had in Cbr. The teriyaki chicken is only $20?? Surprise! But it is a little bit sad that they don’t have sushi and sashimi.
